“Failure is not fatal, but failure to change might be”. It is this quote that inspired my need to create some kind of outlet for my constantly racing thoughts. Blogging is the only way I can write without the restraints of structure and perfection. So here it is; my first attempt at a proper sited blog. I am 21 and have failed many a times. Sometimes due to laziness, lack of will power or circumstances which I willingly let sabotage my success. Above all other reasons my failures are self imposed. I am to scared to let myself be successful, take a risk, step into the light. Events to early to reveal in this blog have conditioned my mind to believe with success comes hurt,so why not admit defeat and failure and stop someone else from imposing it upon you. I often hear people say “so smart and yet so dumb”. Even I myself don’t understand how I manage to ruin a world of opportunities. Unfortunately it has become habitual for me. So here’s a start to change. Nelson Mandela once said “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? I ask this question everyday,Who am I to stand in the way of my own brilliance. Although I have no special talent, skill or even look I know I was born to do great things. So with that I therapeutically write myself a blog to manage the chaos trapped inside my head. Hopefully out of the chaos comes a beautiful mess that will help me start to understand myself. Winona meet Winona. “Cheers” to change.
